Swiss Netball Junior Clubs Tournament

Firstly, many congratulations to our girls following our Swiss Netball Junior Competition on Sunday the 6th of November. Our girls played tremendously well against some very accomplished teams. They showed wonderful team spirit and endeavour, Ellie Hammond (U13) and Lucia Paix (U15) were great Captains on the day encouraging and leading the girls well. Two of our girls, Romie Lee (U13) and Nelly Ciccarelli (U15), each won a coveted ‘Players Player’ award, this award is given to the players that the opposing teams think played the best during their match. A fantastic achievement, especially for Nelly, considering it was her first ever competitive netball tournament. Exciting times for the club.

Tout d’abord, beaucoup de félicitations à nos filles suite pour le Swiss Netball Junior Clubs Tournament dimanche le 6 Novembre. Nos filles ont joué superbement bien contre certaines équipes qui sont très accomplies. Ellie Hammond (U13) et Lucia Paix (U15) ont fait preuve d’un esprit d’équipe formidable et de grands efforts pour encourager et diriger les filles. Deux de nos filles, Romie Lee (U13) et Nelly Ciccarelli (U15), ont remporté un très convoité ‘Players Player’, ce prix est attribué aux joueurs qui, selon les équipes adverses, ont joué le meilleur lors de leur match. Un exploit fantastique, surtout pour Nelly, considérant que c’était son tout premier tournoi de netball compétitif. Des temps excitants pour le club. Merci et bravo a tout le monde!
